Exploration and Development of Global Entrepreneurship for NEXT generation (EDGE-NEX): Since fiscal year 2017 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology(MEXT)

EDGE-NEX is aimed at fostering talented people who challenge entrepreneurship and new business creation based on research and development findings of universities etc. and found start-ups and their ecosystem by stakeholders / related organizations, with a full understanding the results and problems gained from the entrepreneur education that has been tried at various universities in the past including universities adopted at previous EDGE programs.

In particular, this program mainly supports creating new ideas and building business models for undergraduate students, graduate students with expertise, and young researchers. Then, it emphasizes more practical content that will allow students to have a willingness to change the future industrial structure.
